NOTD: Revlon Gray Suede

It is beautiful here today, supposed to be high of 25. I have to make sure to get outside at lunchtime instead of eatting at my desk ๐Ÿ™‚

I think I found a perfect nail colour for work (among so many I have found lately), Revlon Gray Suede from the Daydreamer collection.

By the name, I kinda imagine it would be more gray, but it appeared to be a grayish beige with a slight hint of pink. The flash brightened the colour a bit, but not too far off.

This is 2 coats, maybe itโ€™d get darker with 3, but I am loving it. It almost a match to my skin tone, i.e. a nude polish shade for me. A safe colour to turn to when I want to tone down the nail colour for work meetings and stuff. And itโ€™s shiny enough without a top coat. I just use a top coat to minimize the early chipping.

Wearing this shade till day 2 and I wanted to change it up. I picked Nina Ultra Pro in Molten Copper. They are a perfect pair, made in heaven.

Molten Copper is a duo chrome, light taupe base colour with pink flash. See the similarity here? Canโ€™t say I see any shade of copper in this polish, but I am not complaining. I tried it on itself before, it was sheer โ€“ VNL after 4 coats. Great as a layering colour ๐Ÿ™‚

I wish the flash could bring out the beautiful pink flash on my nails. I canโ€™t stop looking at them. Now if somebody comes out with a flakie version of Molten Copper, itโ€™d be the best colour in the whole world โ€“ well, until I discover something new, lol.

If you have Molten Copper and found a different way to pair it, please let me know. I am all ears.
