NOTD: Ruby Kisses Red Romance

What I wore last weekend 🙂

As I just said in yesterday’s post, I don’t normally like pink/ red nail polish. Nothing wrong with them, I just don’t like how they look on me.

But there’re a few I do like, and this is one of them: Ruby Kisses Red Romance.

This is a darker red shimmer, with bar glitters lightly scattered around in the bottle. I don’t fish around for the glitters, just let them show up randomly. They do feel a bit gritty on the nails, so top coat is key.

I added China Glaze Golden Enchantment on the ring finger and a flakie on the pinkie, to see if they would change how Red Romance looks. Not really, and they don’t really show up in pics either 🙂

I like the shape of the bottle and the length of the handle, give a sturdy feeling, not cheap. No application issue. All this for a mere $.99, I couldn’t ask for more. Feels better than a Dollar Tree find, lol.

If you have this brand near you, go explore, at least with their nail polish. I’m a fan already. I’ve had some Ruby Kisses bottles through swaps, but this is one of a few shades I bought myself. Will sure get some more next time I’m at the beauty supply stores 🙂 The brand does have an online store but I don’t know if they ship outside US.
