Notice from the Bedford Skating Club

In October of this year, the members of the Bedford Skating Club Spring School Committee initiated planning for Spring School 2010 by submitting ice requests and scheduling planning meetings with the Spring School Committee of the Halifax Skating Club.

On November 4, 2009, the club received a message from HRM stating that the ice would be removed from the Bedford Arena on April 25, 2010 for major renovations.

The ice is also being removed from the Bowles and Devonshire Arenas on April 4 and the Gray Arena on May 9.

This year the Bedford Skating Club will be working with Halifax Skating Club again and all Spring School sessions will take place at Centennial Arena in Fairview.

The Spring School Planning Committees for both Clubs are meeting on Wednesday of this week to finalize the ice schedule.

You should be receiving a copy of the 2010 Spring School brochure as soon as it is available and may be required to submit your application by the middle of February.
