Work on the Nova Centre is moving along quickly. Large tub girders are being installed from the Sackville Street side of the development by the large black crawler crane and will support the Grafton Street level of the building when it is completed.
You can see the steel tub girders on the bottom right of this picture.
Recently the Nova Centre added a wall with orange, white and yellow material along Argyle Street that acts as a barrier to the construction but also serves street/wall art as well. It can be seen in this photo from the corner of Argyle and Sackville.
Also, now that the first few floors above ground have been completed, you can get a real sense of how wide Argyle Street will be with the new development. Certainly the 18 foot sidewalks on the Nova Centre side will improve the streetscape.
