NS Egyptian Society prepares for second rally for solidarity

The message below is from the Nova Scotia Egyptian Society and has been addressed to our provincial government and officials in the Halifax Regional Municipality:

“We hope for peaceful demonstrations as well as a solution to the outpour of Egyptian protests and emotions. Your thoughts and prayers as we transition through this phase and hope for a peceful outcome. The Egyptian people are proud people and civilized people and we hope for a positive and peaceful outcome. We will continue to post information as they continue to develop with our Egyptain & Canadian governments. GOD BLESS EGYPT.”

We are proud to represent Egyptians in Nova Scotia and take pride in our Canadian governments represent us.

Feb 12 – Egypt Solidarity Rally

We invite all Egyptians and supporters to a solidarity rally to support our beloved people of Egypt to show unity at this crucial time. We hope we can continue to raise awareness for the events currently taking place in Egypt and relay the message that there is a place for democracy in Egypt.

Top Priorities include support by all Egyptians in any way, shape or form as humanatarian assistance is currently crucial to many Egyptians as these are difficult times for much of the Egyptian people and through unity we shall overcome all of this turnmoil.

We look forward to your participation as we all need to do our part in restoring Egypt’s image. God Bless Egypt. Looking forward to seeing all Egyptians standing in unity and solidarity with our people.
