Wondering how to maintain your vehicle? Looking for tips on preparing your car for winter? Get your questions answered on Twitter by Nova Scotia RCMP and the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (TIR) during #NSCarChat on Friday, October 28 from noon – 1 p.m.
During the Twitter Chat, an RCMP police officer and a TIR motor vehicle compliance officer will answer your questions and offer tips to help you stay safe on the road.
“Proper vehicle maintenance is an important part of public safety,” says Cst. Mark Skinner, Traffic Services, Nova Scotia RCMP. “When you maintain and winterize your vehicle, you are helping to keep everyone safe.”
The goal of the Twitter Chat is to offer practical advice and spread awareness of the importance of maintaining and winterizing vehicles.
“There is a lot of information to sort through online,” says Raymond Beaton, Director of Vehicle Compliance, TIR. “We hope this chat will provide some rules of thumb and tips to live by.”
