NSLC reports a 12% increase in cannabis sales, 5.1% in wine, and 7.2% in ready-to-drink products

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation has just released its third-quarter financial results, here’s a quick rundown of the most important numbers:

  • Total Sales: There was a 1.8% increase, with overall sales reaching $232.2 million.
  • Cannabis Sales: A significant rise of 12.0%, totaling $30.9 million.
  • Local Product Sales: Sales of all local products, including beverages and cannabis, saw an 8.7% increase, reaching $35.2 million.
  • Ready-to-Drink Sales: This category, which includes coolers and ciders, experienced a 7.2% boost to $8.1 million.

They continue to see growth in both cannabis and local product sales, despite a general decline in beverage alcohol volume. They’ve maintained their focus on social responsibility with their new “What are you willing to miss?” campaign and by raising $320,000 for Feed Nova Scotia and the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.
