NSLC sponsoring free Halifax Transit rides on Saturdays throughout December

Release:

The NSLC is proud to sponsor free rides with Halifax Transit again this holiday season, as we ask all Nova Scotians to make getting home safely part of their plans throughout the holidays and always.

Every Saturday in December, starting this weekend on December 6 at 6:00 pm, Haligonians can count on Halifax Transit to get them home safely for free. This includes all Halifax Transit services (bus, Access-A-Bus, and ferry) for all passengers starting from 6 p.m. to the end of service.

This is the fourth year the NSLC has offered free rides with Halifax Transit in advance of the holidays. Last year, close to 60,000 passengers participated.

This initiative is part of NSLC’s commitment to promoting safe, responsible choices, and discouraging impaired driving.
