Obama Makes History: Haligonians React

We might as well admit it: We are completely enthralled by American politics, and this year’s race in particular has captured the attention of many Haligonians.  Here’s a quick roundup of local reaction to Obama’s historic win.

The Chronicle-Herald has coverage of a Obama watch party at the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of fame.  From the article:

 

“…the smiles and shouts swept quickly through the tiny room inside the Halifax Metro Centre where close to 60 Nova Scotians crammed in to support the Democratic candidate and watch the election results broadcast live from the United States.”
