A man was sent to hospital yesterday with non life-threatening injuries after swerving to avoid a dog and hitting a power pole.
From Halifax Police:
“At 800 am this morning police responded to 25 Cranberry Cresent in relation to a single Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival , police learned that the driver of the truck swerved to avoid a dog in the street , colliding with a power pole. The 43 year old driver was sent to the Dartmouth General with chest pains. NS Power attended to assist with a downed power line and there were no other injuries.”
