Officer Involved Shooting

Last night at approx. 1:10 AM members of the Halifax Regional Police were involved in an officer involved shooting. The incident occurred in the 200 Block of Pleasant St. in Dartmouth. No one was injured during the course of this incident. Several parties have been taken into custody for questioning. The HRP / RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is currently on scene and this matter remains under investigation at this time. Updates will be handled by the Public Information Office as the investigation progresses. Currently traffic is being diverted on Pleasant St. at Acadia St. and Marvin St.
