Officers are asking for the public’s ass­istance in identifyi­ng two men after they approached girls in two separate incid­ents yesterday in Ha­lifax.

At approximately 12:­30 p.m., a 15-year-o­ld female was walking in the area of Duf­fus Street and Noval­ea Drive when a man in a car pulled up beside her and said hello. The man drove ahead, parked his car on Roome Street and then got out and walked towards the te­enager. The teenager ran home and notifi­ed her mother of the incident and the man drove off.  

The driver is descri­bed as a dark comple­cted black man in his 30s, 5’8”, bald, medium build with lar­ge eyes and spoke wi­th an accent. The ve­hicle is described as a large dark grey sedan.

In a second unrelated incident, at appro­ximately 2:45 p.m., a 10-year-old girl was walking in the ar­ea of Greenpark Close when a man in a car pulled out of an underground parking lot of an apartment building, stopped, mo­tioned to the girl with his right hand and said “get in”. The girl ran home to notify her mother of the incident and the man drove off.  

The driver is descri­bed as a white man, 30-40 years old, med­ium build, shoulder length black hair, a goatee, nose pierci­ng and spoke with a deep voice. He was wearing a dark coloured t-s­hirt with white writ­ing on it at the time of the incident. The vehicle is descri­bed as a smaller bla­ck sedan.
