A room full of beautiful woman dressed to the nines? I knew I needed to pull out some big guns, and so I opted for a classically chic black and white ensemble, and then simply added a lovely statement piece.  

Since it was a special event, I decided to do something a little different with my hair as well. It was super humid and raining cats and dogs, so I pulled if back away from my face, both as necessary, and to accentuate my new bling. I then teased the hair in the ponytail for some added volume and loosely braided the remaining hair. I think the teasing helps to create a more unkempt look (which let’s be honest had to be my goal), making it a bit more grown up (I hope). What are your thoughts blog reader?
