ONLY FOUR MORE DAYS UNTIL ANDERSON COOPER’S DAYTIME TALK SHOW DEBUTS!
OK, sorry about the caps. But it was the only way I could convey my immense excitement about The Coop’s (yes, I have a nickname for him) new show! After all, could anything other than amazing come from the man who gave us this?
I have long been imaginary BFFs with Anderson. In my dreams, we ride bikes around NYC together (in reality I’m too timid to even hit the comparably gentle streets of Halifax on two wheels), meet regularly for coffee so we can discuss our mutual distaste for large parties or people who talk about their dreams (irony alert!) and have sleepovers where he tells me stories about riding in limos with Michael Jackson and sneaking into war torn countries.
Anderson Cooper is the perfect mix of goofy and serious. He covers serious news on AC360, but also delights me every time he acts as a guest co-host on Live With Regis and Kelly. There are countless things to love about him, from his silver hair to his boyish grin to the fact that once upon a time he hosted The Mole. Just watch the faces he makes as he adds Kate Gosselin to his “RidicuList” and try not to love him.
So starting on Monday, I’ll be adding Anderson to my DVR schedule. Are you going to check it out?
Update: 25 more reasons why Anderson and I would make fantastic BFFs. Also, change “meet regularly for coffee” to “meet regularly for coffee-flavored ice cream”.
