One traffic stop, three men, twenty-three charges

RCMP release:

On June 22 at approximately 1:35 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Highway 101 near exit 2.

The driver was arrested for impaired operation of a conveyance.

Inside the vehicle, officers located and seized a variety of drug paraphernalia and prohibited weapons.

A 36-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court at a later date to face charges of:

  • impaired operation of a conveyance
  • possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace
  • possession of a prohibited weapon
  • possession of a restricted weapon

Two other occupants of the vehicle were also arrested.

A 38-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court at a later date to face charges of:

  • possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace (x2)
  • possession of a prohibited weapon (x2)
  • possession of a restricted weapon (x2)
  • carrying a concealed weapon

A 37-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court today to face charges of:

  • possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace
  • possession of a prohibited weapon
  • possession of a restricted weapon
  • possession of a firearm contrary to order
  • assault a peace officer (x2)
  • mischief
  • breach of probation order (x5)
