Operation Harrier leads to four arrests and multiple charges
The RCMP in Halifax District have arrested four people and laid multiple charges in relation to Operation Harrier, an investigation that began in February 2019. On July 25, Halifax District RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) searched a home on Pockwock Rd. in Upper Hammonds Plains that resulted in a quantity of crack cocaine and drug trafficking paraphernalia being seized and three people were arrested without incident:
Demar Anthony Allison, 34, of Upper Hammonds Plains, has been charged with:
A 56-year-old female from Hammonds Plains, will be charged with:
A 42-year-old man from Middle Sackville, will be charged with:
On July 29, a 28-year-old female from Upper Hammonds Plains, was also arrested in relation to the investigation. She will be charged with:
Allison was remanded in custody and appeared in court on July 29. He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on September 16, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. The second accused was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on September 16, 2019. The third accused is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on September 11, 2019. The fourth accused was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on September 16, 2019.
