East Hants District RCMP advise that they have found the owner of a diamond ring found in Mount Uniacke in June.
In early June, a citizen found a diamond ring in a parking lot off Highway 1 in Mount Uniacke and turned it in to the Rawdon RCMP detachment.
After issuing a news release and sharing photos of the ring on social media in July, Nova Scotia RCMP received numerous tips from the public.
On October 13, 2015, East Hants District RCMP were able to confirm the rightful owner, and the ring has since been returned to a Kings County woman.
The RCMP would like to thank members of the public for their assistance with this investigation, including everyone who shared information on social media.
