Thursday, June 4, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents to expect some traffic disruptions on Oxford Street tomorrow (Friday, June 5), while crews install temporary water pipes from the west end of South Street to Dalhousie University.
This installation will require crossing Oxford Street between South Street and Coburg Road. There will be some traffic disruption from 9 a.m. until about 4 p.m. while work is underway.
The contractor will be installing temporary ramps to allow traffic to flow over the water pipes; however, motorists could still see some delays.
This work is expected to take a day to complete. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes, if possible, while this work is underway.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
