Thursday, July 7, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the section of sidewalk on Barrington Street, from Blowers Street to Salter Street, will be closed to pedestrian through-access on Saturday, July 9, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The sidewalk closure is required to facilitate light installation under the recently established canopy structure in front of the Pacific Building, at civic addresses 1537/1541/1547 Barrington Street.
During this work, access to local businesses will be maintained at all times.
Traffic control personnel will be on-site at nearby intersections to facilitate safe pedestrian access as required.
The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
