Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two men who fraudulently obtained payday loans in Halifax.
Between March 25 and April 2, two unidentified suspects attended a number of local payday loan lenders and obtained loans by using fraudulent identification cards and forged documents. The fraudsters are suspected to have used the same scam at a number of businesses in Ontario. The suspects were captured on video at most of the businesses.
Anyone with information on these crimes or the identities of the suspects is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016.
