Peace vigil at Grand Parade this evening

Monday, Jan. 30, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – Mayor Savage is inviting members of the community to a candlelight vigil this evening in honour of members of the Ste. Foy, Quebec, mosque who lost their lives, as well as those who sustained injuries in Sunday night’s attack.

Date/Time: Monday, Jan. 30, 2017 – 6 p.m.

Location: Grand Parade Square in front of City Hall, 1841 Argyle Street, Halifax

The vigil is an opportunity to come together in the spirit of peace, unity and compassion. All are welcome.
