Pedestrian bridge to be named after local hero

The bridge over the McIntosh Run saves pedestrians a walk down Kidston Road to the community centre. I hear it saves a lot of time when you're running because you are late to catch the bus as well.

It’s getting a new name – I don’t think I’m stretching it too much to say she was a local hero (well, back in 1937 anyway).
