Pedestrian hit in Spryfield succumbs to injuries

The pedestrian who was struck on November 26 in Halifax has died as a result of his injuries.

At approximately 5:45 p.m. on November 26 police responded to Sylvia Avenue for a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle driven by a 65-year-old man. The pedestrian, a 67-year-old man, was transported to hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and at this time, charges are not anticipated in relation to the collision.

Our thoughts are with the man’s family and everyone impacted by this tragic incident.
