Pedestrian struck by delivery truck

HRP release:

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a vehicle pedestrian collision that occurred early this morning in Bedford.

At approximately 5:40 a.m. officers responded to an injured person on Farmers Dairy Lane.  A delivery truck had struck a pedestrian who was walking in the centre of the roadway. The pedestrian, a 60-year-old man, was taken to hospital for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Collision Reconstruction Unit is still on scene.
