Pedestrian succumbs to injuries in last night’s collision; investigation ongoing

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a fatal pedestrian vehicle collision that occurred last night in Dartmouth. At approximately 11:20 p.m. on June 24, Halifax Regional Police responded to a pedestrian vehicle collision in the area of Main Street and Hartlen Street in Dartmouth. A 70-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. He was transported to hospital and later died as a result of his injuries.

Our thoughts are with the man’s family and everyone impacted by this tragic incident.
