Pellet Gun Incident

At 4:30 pm on April 25, 2013 east members responded to a report of a vehicle travelling on Highway 111 with 3 young male occupants who were reported to have fired a pellet gun at a moving vehicle.
 One vehicle was struck while passing Micmac Mall along Highway 111.  The driver of this vehicle followed the suspect vehicle while calling police.  The vehicle was stopped by police on Pleasant Street near the oil refinery.  3 youths were arrested without incident and 3 pellet guns recovered.  The driver of the vehicle was uninjured while his vehicle sustained minor damages.
A 15 year old male and a 16 year old male were charged with Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and Mischief as a result of the damage caused to the victims vehicle.  Both were later released on a promise to appear in court at a later date and to abide by conditions listed on an undertaking.  Police believe there may be additional witnesses or victims of this incident and request anyone with information to file a police report  by calling 490-5016.
