Friday, June 16, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Pelzant Street will be closed next week between Wyse Road and George Street.
The closure is required to facilitate the demolition of 169 Wyse Rd. (the old Little Nashville bar), which includes capping services in the Pelzant Street right of way.
Crews will be on site each day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. There may be evening work, but it will cease at 9:30 p.m. due to the municipality’s noise bylaw.
Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the closed street, as needed. All local residents of Pelzant Street will have continuous access to their homes throughout the closure.
Motorists may experience delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes, if possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is underway.
