People seeking nominations to run in Halifax Armdale, Halifax Atlantic

Provincial election time is coming! So I guess it’s time to brush up on who’s who in the neighbourhood. I’ve searched for people seeking nominations to run from all three parties as of today, but this will have to be a running tally as I get more news.

There are two ridings in the OTC area: Halifax Atlantic and the newly named Halifax Armdale. Graham Steele and Michele Raymond are the current NDP MLAs for Halifax Fairview and Halifax Atlantic (boundary names and areas are changing slightly). Neither are re-offering.

There are two people seeking the NDP nomination for Halifax Armdale: Educator and dancer Drew Moore and former CBC broadcaster Olga Milosevich.

In Halifax Atlantic, lawyer Ryan Brennan has announced he’ll seek the Progressive Conservative nomination. The Liberals have already nominated Brendan Maguire in Halifax Atlantic.
