Person of interest sought after string of thefts from vehicles (Photos)

Halifax District RCMP is asking the for the public’s help to identify a vehicle and a person of interest in relation to several mischief and thefts from vehicles in the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Over the last few weeks, several vehicles have had windows smashed and items stolen from inside. On August 24, Halifax District RCMP identified a vehicle that may be involved. The vehicle is a silver Chrysler Sebring 200 and it may have some damage to the passenger side.

The same day, a man entered a business in Timberlea and used a credit card that was reported stolen following a theft from a vehicle. The man is described as wearing a grey t-shirt, dark shorts, a mask, sunglasses and a hat.
