Spring Garden Road was closed in front of Park Lane after a power outage in Downtown Halifax reportedly caused some smoke and strong odours to fill Park Lane Mall.
Movie goers were ushered out, and many reported a strong smell of burning rubber and plastic in the building. Over 2,000 customers were without power in the surrounding area for at least an hour.
