RCMP in Pictou County have laid charges following a stabbing on Monday.
On February 15, shortly after 1:30 a.m., Pictou District RCMP were called to a residence in Linacy and found a 20-year-old man from New Glasgow had suffered a stab wound. The male was transported to hospital in Halifax with non-life threatening injuries. As a result, RCMP arrested and charged 26-year-old Natasha Ann Mattie of Linacy with Aggravated Assault. Mattie has been released from police custody and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court on February 29.
The investigation is continuing.
