NOVA SCOTIA – June 6, 2013 – The Nova Scotia Firefighters School (“NSFS”) is proud to announce the introduction of their newly commissioned pink fire truck (the first in Nova Scotia) to raise funds in support of the fight against Cancer. The pink fire truck will be used to assist with training at the School and will travel around the province to raise funds for Cancer research as part of parade processions, community and NSFS events.
The pink truck will be unveiled this weekend at the FDIC Atlantic happening at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia from June 7th-9th.
The engine’s eye catching pink and purple design is the result of partial corporate sponsorship from Sojourn Signs and 3M with all lighting donated by LEGG-UP Communications and Lighting to enhance the fundraising efforts towards this worthwhile cause. We sincerely thank them for their generosity.
