Playgrounds reviewed, and a talk on the art of play June 5/12

With the good weather coming, you’ve probably already started to go outside again to play. If not, you should. I’m a big fan of play and activity…as some of you may have guessed, OTC was started because one adult (that’s me) was playing with an idea and also trying to get outside more.
It was through OTC that I first connected with Alex Smith, a fellow blogger who focuses on playgrounds.

Alex is holding a two-evening talk at the Alderney Gate Public library on June 5 and again on June 12. Each talk will start at 7:00pm.

Alex’s OTHER blog, which is more of a review site for various playgrounds around the HRM, can be found here. Of special interest to OTC readers, he and his children have reviewed the John W. MacLeod Fleming Tower school playground and the Dingle Playground.
