Pleasant Street Gas Station Robbed

At approximately 10:50 pm Halifax Regional Police patrol members responded to a complaint of a robbery at the Ultramar Gas station located at 219 Pleasant St in Dartmouth.    A staff member reported to police that a man had robbed the store while armed with a knife and fled Northbound from the store with a quantity of cigarettes and money.  Halifax Regional Police patrol members, assisted by a K9 unit searched the area, however, they were unable to locate a suspect.  The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties, approximately 5’8”, with a blond beard and had been carrying a black back pack with red pipping.  The matter will be investigated by the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.  Officers are looking to speak with anyone who may have any knowledge of this incident and ask that they contact Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
