Thursday, September 15, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction takes place today on Pleasant Street from Portland Street to Newcastle Street.

Crews will be on site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The traffic signals at Portland Street will not be operational during this work and traffic control personnel will be in place.

Motorists should expect long delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road work may cause.
