Police are advising the public of a pin found in an ice cream cake purchased from a restaurant in Dartmouth last night.
On June 15 at 9:26 a.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report from a parent whose son found a straight pin in a piece of ice cream cake. The 9-year-old boy took a bite of the cake and noticed the pin. The boy was uninjured. The cake was purchased the night before at the Dairy Queen located at 162 Main Street.
