Investigators with the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are asking for the public’s help with the investigation of the homicide of Chelsie Probert.
At approximately 10 p.m. on June 6, 2017 Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a female in medical distress on a pathway between Wyse Road and Albro Lake Road. Officers located 18-year-old Chelsie Probert who required immediate medical assistance. EHS transported her to hospital where she later passed away from her injuries. The Medical Examiner ruled Chelsie’s death a homicide. The investigation is ongoing.
Investigators are interested in speaking to anyone who may have been on the pathway or in the surrounding area between 9 and 10 p.m.
Anyone who was in the area or who has information about this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5020.
