Police are currently investigating a robbery that occurred this afternoon in Dartmouth

Police are currently investigating a robbery that occurred this afternoon in Dartmouth.

At 12 p.m. police responded to a report of a robbery at the One Stop Shop located at 269 Windmill Road in Dartmouth. Staff reported that a man entered the store with a knife in his hand and demanded money and cigarettes. The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction of travel with an undisclosed sum of money and cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5’6”, with an average build. He was wearing a zip-up style blue and grey hooded sweatshirt with horizontal stripes.
