Police are currently on scene at a residence on the Bedford Highway for a sudden death.

Police and Emergency Health Services were called to a residence on the Bedford Highway for a woman who required immediate medical assistance. A 19-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. The name of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

Investigators in the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are in the preliminary stages of the investigation, and Forensic Identification officers are continuing to process the scene.
