**** HRP Media Release

At 8:18 p.m. police responded to a motor vehicle striking a pedestrian in the 6700 block of Quinpool Rd. in Halifax.  The vehicle was driving westbound on Quinpool Rd. when the pedestrian  was struck.  The pedestrian was taken to hospital by EHS with what are believed to be life threatening injuries.  The driver of the vehicle did not report any injuries.

Police currently have Quinpool Rd. closed between Connaught Ave. and Woodlawn Terrace while we conduct an investigation.  The investigation is in it’s preliminary stages and more information will be released when available.
