Police are investigating fatal pedestrian/motor vehicle collision.

 

Police are onscene of a fatal pedestrian/motor vehicle collision that occurred earlier today in Halifax.

 

At approximately 2:45 p.m. police responded to a report of a pedestrian/motor vehicle collision in the 2200 block of Gottingen Street in Halifax.  A truck struck a man who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

 

Members of the Collision Investigation Unit are onscene and continue to investigate. There is no further information available at this time.

 

Gottingen Street between Uniacke and Prince William Streets is expected to be closed for some time. Police are asking motorists to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
