Police are investigating shots fired overnight in Dartmouth

At 12:30 a.m. Officers were in the area of Lahey Road and Catherine Street when they heard gun shots and observed three males running one of who had a gun.

A search of the area was conducted and two male were arrested separately and a gun was located in the area.

So far there hasn’t been any reported injuries but a vehicle was located with what is believed to be damage caused by gunfire.

The investigation is in the early stages and is being handled by the Integrated General Investigation Section.
