At approximately 11:10 p.m. on November 16 officers responded to a report of a not in progress break and enter at a residence in the area of 0-100 block of Leiblin Drive of Halifax. The home owners were away and arrived home to find their residence had been broken into sometime between November 15 and 16.​ Two pistols, a shotgun, an airsoft pistol, a quantity of ammunition and personal cheques were all stolen from the residence. The firearms were all owned and stored legally.
