Last evening police received a report of an attempted robbery which happened yesterday at approximately 230 pm in the 6100 block of University Avenue.
A man reported that a black Hyundai Sonata was parked on the side of the road. Two men in their 20’s exited the vehicle and one of the men brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s jacket. The victim refused and pulled out his phone. The men jumped back in the vehicle which then left the area.
Suspects are described as white males in their 20’s. One male with a heavier build wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. The second male had thin build, moustache and was wearing a black jacket. No description of the driver was obtained.
The victim was not injured during the incident.
