Police searching for robbery suspect
Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a robbery that occurred in Halifax today.
At approximately 10:30 a.m. police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Superstore Smoke Shop located at 3601 Joseph Howe Drive. A man entered the store demanded money then fled on foot with an amount of money.There was no weapon seen and no reported injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man in his fifties or sixties, 5’’6” with grey hair. He was wearing jeans and a black bomber-style winter jacket with fur on the hood.
Police believe there may have been people who witnessed the incident and are asking anyone with information about this incident to call police at 902-490-5020.
