Police seek robbery suspect
Police are looking for the public’s assistance in relation to a robbery in Halifax earlier today.
At approximately 2:15 p.m. police received a report of a robbery that had occurred at Pleasures and Treasures located at 6232 Quinpool Road in Halifax. A man with a knife entered the store and demanded cash. The staff gave him an undisclosed amount of money and he fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s, approximately 5’6” tall with a thin build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black suit and a hat.
Police are asking anyone with information about the identity of the man or the incident to call 902-490-5016. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
