Police arrest Beaver Bank man for Assault and Forcible Confinement

Police officers from the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have arrested and charged a man in relation to an ongoing investigation.

Yesterday morning, information came forward to police indicating that on June 14, 2016, a man allegedly assaulted and forcibly confined a woman at a home in Beaver Bank.

Police immediately began to search for the suspect whose vehicle was located and seized yesterday afternoon on Majestic Dr., Beaver Bank.  During the course of the investigation, a search warrant was also executed at the suspect’s Beaver Bank residence.

The search continued today and shortly before 5 p.m., the man turned himself into police.

A 33-year-old Beaver Bank man has been charged with Assault and Forcible Confinement and remains in police custody.
