RCMP Release:
December 13, 2010, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM)… Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District arrest a suspect in connection with a robbery which occurred in Lower Sackville, NS.
On November 27th, 2010, police responded to a call of a 15-year-old youth robbed by a man driving a white truck. The suspect threatened the youth with a pair of brass knuckles and demanded that the youth turn over his cell phone.
On December 12, 2010, RCMP Halifax District executed a search warrant at a residence in Beaver Bank, NS. A cell phone and pair of brass knuckles were seized during the search.
An 18-year-old Beaver Bank man is facing charges of Robbery, Possession of Prohibited Weapon, and Possession of Stolen Property. He will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court on January 26, 2011.
