Police arrest man, seek two other suspects in robbery

 

At 1:40 p.m. police responded to a report of a 19-year-old man who was robbed by three males in the Camp Hill Cemetery on Summer Street. The males, who were not known to the victim, advised the victim that they had a knife but none was seen. The victim was punched in the face and received non-life threatening injuries. The three males ran on foot northbound from the cemetery after stealing the victim’s wallet, sandals and hat.

 

The suspects are described as three black males. One suspect was arrested in the area and found in possession of a knife as well as the victim’s property.

 

Eighteen-year-old Joshua Osborn Mabie was charged with robbery and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and is to appear in Halifax Provincial Court this afternoon.
