On October 14, 2015, members of the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Lunenburg District RCMP, and the Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia, executed a search warrant at a residence on Llewellyn Road in Middlewood.
Members seized over one pound of processed marihuana, marihuana plants, cash and unsafely stored firearms. A man and woman, both from Lunenburg County, are scheduled to appear in court on October 15, 2015 to face charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and firearm offences.
The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit is comprised of members of the Bridgewater Police Service and the Lunenburg District RCMP.
